I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to my site and introduce myself.
My name is Clive Pett.
My musical career started at the age of 11 with a school band as a vocalist, shaking my marracas (Mick Jagger-style), until the drummer broke his arm and I took over the drumming seat by accident - his! I bought his Gigster snare drum for a few quid and then gradually progressed from Olympics to Premiers. I then traded up to a Hayman kit during the early 70's. (are you asleep yet?). I had always hankered, like most drummers of a certain age, after the illusive Ludwig kit and eventually acquired a massive Bonham-style black panther . After that I got a beautiful stop-sign Gretsch in walnut finish. This was really the start of my passion for vintage drums which I have continued to play and collect to this day. I have been buying and selling vintage drums for the past 5 years.
